Well I have had this less then 24 hours and some things were fine, but it was a little slow, So I wanted to know about the ram upgrade. The reason I bought this was to have a device the could be modded with a little work to help some friends in the deaf community have a communication device when there was not an interpreter around. Well this will take some work to work, I just took photos to see it all in parts. Also was not afraid of bricking (making a desk paper weight) this that much as much as other one that actually do function well. I will get a photo of the screw that is hidden.

here you go and the link to all of them is

the two screws that hold down the keyboard. One you can see the other you have to cut through the warning sticker on the back to get it out. I will retake that photo soon and post it for you. I think re doing the ribbon cable for the mouse was harder then the keyboard. the keyboard is the same as the Tonka net book (sylvania g meso book) but the zzz is a G in a circle on the G.

I know there are some of the photos that are poor quality, but I was using a 5 year old digital camera that has been dropped a few dozen times.

hi Tommy,
did you pursue the ram upgrade possibility any further?

I have looked into doing it, but am practising my soldier skill first with used calculators from the 2nd hand store first before I smoke $150. I have been reading on the better wifi before I try the ram.
