Discussions about the Alpha-400 sub-notebook

Here's a few pictures to show the sizie of the machine.

Please note that I use a medium size glove, so my hand really isn't very big.

Also, I didn't bother editing the pictures, just pulled the SD-card from the camera , slotted it into the Alpha-400 and uploaded the via the browser.

Start screen. Running programs will have a small icon at the bottom. There are two more 'system screens' that can be reached by the use of the arrow icons.
You will also see 'status' icons, for Battery/Ext power, USB, SD card, WLAN...

I find it most practical to use the index finger on my right hand on the touchpad, and the thumb of my left on the left button. There's no obvious way to swap the buttons, unfortunately.
