The FP-12 'Mini thermal Printer' sure live up to it's name when it comes to paper size, the paper is only 37mm (1.5") wide and 13mm(0.5") diameter...
It's powered by a 4x1.2V AAA size Ni-cad battery pack, and recharged with the CHA-1 Charger. (4.8V 20mA) It will not run off the Charger since it draws up to 4Watts while printing. (almost 1A) The estimated printing time on a full recharge is up to 30 minutes. (A guess based on 150-200mA Ni-cad's and almost 1A power requirememnts)
The only control on the printer is the (Form) [FEED] button. This will only work if the printer is connected to a PB-100 that is powered and ON.
Underneath, there is two 'slots', one holds the cover for the expansion connector on the FA-3 or PB-100, and the other presumably holds the cover for the connector on the Printer itself.
(I don't have this cover though.)
There is also a 'thumbwheel' to screw the printer onto the FA-3 adapter.
